Opening window

The park and Sunset Point parking are normally open 24 hours year-round, subject to temporary snow and safety closures.

Reservation

No reservation is represented for self-guided viewing; ranger programs and full-moon hikes have separate schedules or tickets.

Road and arrival

Current NPS main park road and UDOT approach status is required, especially during winter storms.

The route does not recommend descending Navajo Loop, Queen's Garden, or another trail at night.

• · Give your eyes about 10 minutes to adapt to the dark after arrival.
