Use the parking lot only, stay awake, and remain within 20 ft (6 m) of the vehicle. This page does not extend night access to a day-use picnic area or trail.

No stargazing reservation is represented for the designated parking lot; park entrance fees may apply.

Transport

Drive inside the park with water, fuel, and a return route planned before dark.

Road and arrival

Current NPS park-road and Caltrans approach status is required.
